So...what's the connection between the images posted and "Black Sensitivity?"

If I'm allowed to turn my brain off for a moment, black people begin sensitive somehow makes those pictures ok/justifiable? Nah wait...that doesn't work at all.

So again, what does "black sensitivity" have to do with the aforementioned images?

in TSA's Racist Disney thread, people chalked it up to blacks being too sensitive.
i was just illustrating why in 2009 black folks don't play that shit.

there is a long history of whites trying to reinforce this image and stereotype. and they keep trying every chance they get.

so yeah its a wound that never gets a chance to heal.

looking at just the drawing of the black girl i can't see how it would be offensive to black people. no bulging eyes, big red lips, or huge flaring nostrils; it's just a bland drawing of a young girl with dark skin. so it can't be that.

then there's the watermelon soda part which, again, by itself shouldn't be offensive to anyone. so i guess it's just the fact that there's a normal looking black girl on this can of watermelon soda that's making gavin's sensitivity senses tingle... yes this must be soul crushing.

You just don't get it.

It is also reinforcing a stereotype about blacks and watermelons. It is clearly racial, but you don't see.

This thread reminds me of this mixed race chick in college, basically we had to choose an identity to base our street art on and do a presentation to the class.
most people did political identity, gender identity and such, i did drug culture.

Anyway this mixed race girl did racial identity, everyones presentation was cool, chilled vibes, then the mixed race girl opened her sketch book, black slaves with ropes hanging everywhere, minstrels , 4 pages dedicsated to the kkk and their cartoon renditions, slave chains, blood.

Basically everyone felt it was too much, too over the top and depressing, i understand that black people have had their history stolen from them but i think the only way for them to move on as a race is too forgive, forget and move on, don't let your history dictate your furture.
