I just recently picked up the soundtrack to gun grave (great packaging) and liked it very much with it's blend of jazz and orchestral music. so I was wondering if you guys also like anime soundtracks and if they do generally follow a jazz type of vibe.

Samuria Champloo is the best anime ive seen in awhile, since Cowboy Beebop 1st aired, im also likin FullMetal Alchemist alot. I rlly like the theme music for these animes. Inuyashas dope too. That has some good music in it.

Im a huge anime buff, I go to conventions all the time. So, Im not trying to be an expert, but the best soundtracks to me are all 4 samurai champloo, final fantasy 7 and 8, cowboy bebop (all), gun grave, all the naruto soundtracks, plus the naruto anime is sick (thanks cartoon network for ruining it, just like dbz). But my all time favorite has to be the akira soundtrack, just something about it. you guys should try and download the song "beast of blood" by malice mizer, get the video too. better if you have ares or limewire, kazaa too.

Oh, and dont forget about the opening song for elfen lied, classic chant with orchestra.

Samurai Champloo is fucking nuts. wait till you get to the end of the anime. the shit gets crazy episode 20 and 21, 24, 25, and 26 are all fucking crazy.

there are only 26 episodes of samurai champloo but there is a movie in the works.

Naruto is crazy too, but start watching around episode 8, when they start their first mission. from there on it gets crazy.
