i need to add Rob Zombies "Halloween 2" to the list, i only watched it the other night, but it is fucking hard, no fucking around, just pure grimeyness from front to back.....Rob Zombie is one sick fuck....and Sherie Moon Zombie is a sexy bitch.....and i'm loving how Danielle Harris still manages to play a teenager when she's 34 - she's a sexy bitch too...

i just saw district 9 tonight. most overrated movie ever. ok, it was decent, but does not live up to best movie of '09.

3 movies that i saw that were 100 times better...

boondock saints 2: all saints day

they all serve the purpose of entertainment in one form or another.

lol im not sure at which aspect you meant pandering but in the sense im understanding i saw nothing of the sort.

it was just a fun, for kicks kinda flick tho they do try and give the movie an underlining deeper weight that wasn't completely necessary but it was what it was.

the exaggerated dynamics between the trekkers n star wars geeks was pretty funny
the end seems to dizzle as far as the story goes but the soundtrack keeps it afloat

transformers --- great animation and was a fave when i was a kid.
Up --- had it's funny moments but overall wasn't a top movie.
new moon --- Had to watch this, but was better than i would have expected for a chick flick -.-.
watchmen --- found this to be a good movie but at some parts got very boring.
the hangover --- found it very stupid comedy and fell asleep fast...
district 9 --- i found interesting but i didn't like the way the movie was filmed.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine --- loved this movie, not one boring scene and would recomend it to anyone who likes alot of fighting, (love how they actually have gambit in one of the movies.)

So if i had to pick top movie (s), i'd go for Wolverine, Transformers.

parnormal activity was actually not bad at all I've seen it about 4-5 times now. Kinda wish there was abit more to it tho.

I thought Funny People was okay but way too long
Best Film:Inglorious Basterds
Runners up District 9; Drag Me to Hell Public Enemies (was pretty good)
Havent seen Avatar yet though
Watchemen was cool but too long also I want to see Law Abiding Citizen or Taking Of Pelham 123

Watchmen is hands down a classic film.
