The original one was hilarious. Of course it was very quiet, dry and witty with British humor, but that's why it stood out IMO.

The fact they are making a corny BLOCKBUSTER version with Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock and Martin Lawerence is pretty wack. Don't get me wrong, I love Morgan and Rock but everything about them is predictable and cliche.

Hollywood is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. I showed my roommate the original and he was skeptical at first considering he loves immature slap-stick comedy but actually ended up loving it.

They could pull in the same amount of money this film will bring in using a different script. Especially considering the names involved.

Hollywood just seems scared to take a chance.

So what there's a new version of Death At A Funeral coming out. This new version looks like it's gonna be funny and i know it will be since Chris, Martin, Tracy are in it. I never saw the original movie and i never will. Who's in the original? Some corny white actors?

^the difference being the average american doesn't know 'death at a funeral' is a remake; 'the honeymooners' though was a 'classic piece of americana' (translation: old ass white people shit from the era where white people felt like they had control over everything)

the original 'death at a funeral' was hysterical; this one looks like it might be ok...is zoe saldana the new thandie newton? think about it...fox is probably the only one who'll get this lol

I don't care about ya'll hating on Death At A Funeral remake. I'm gonna see it this Saturday. Ya'll take things too seriously. Hollywood is just like any other business meaning they wanna make money. You can't stay in business if you don't make money. It's that simple.

I saw Death At A Funeral yesterday and it's funny. I love Zoe Saldana and Regina Hall. I think Tracy Morgan at times tries hard to be funny.
