venom was pretty obvious to think he will be in it, I mean venom is the most widely known spiderman villian even though he wasn't in the original comics. so I'm not surprised about venom but why the fuck are they putting in sandman? I would've liked to see vulture in there instead of sandman.

but to each his own I guess. but the casting director fucked up having topher be venom, get mickey rourke or some big mother fucker to be venom not topher grace.

Why is everyone bitching about sandman. People have no imagination at all. I already know people said that Raimi's idea for sandman is wicked. A friend of mine said that the rumors are that Raimi is getting ideas for sandman from this anime called Naruto. There is a character that someone sent into Raimi who can move sand as a ninja ability and Raimi thought it would be cool to use some elements from the show. So I checked the show out. Took forever to get a proper download, I dont have any links cause you need divx to make it work but I saw a episode and I like the guy. The sand moves on its own and he fights without moving his body. The sand around him does all the ass kicking. Looked cool to me.

If its true sandman may be a better villian than doc ock and green goblin. However, vemon may not be the villian. Supposingly, Spider-man gets the black costume and later vemon shows up at the end. But he's not the villian throughout the movie.

Yeah, thats the point. That is the plan, Sam Raimi hates the character of Vemon, he said he didn't like him cause he's a clone a cop out. During the nineties they started making all these clone characters, although vemon came out in 1988. Anyway, Sam Raimi most likely is setting it up for 4 but he will not direct it.
