Wrong. Late 1800s, the KKK was terrorizing and killing Republican leaders. As the political climate shifted, and black support moved to the democratic party and vice versa, the KKKs natural enemies shifted. This doesn't mean that there weren't racist democrats. Wilson was one of them. Shit, Id bet most of them were.
