two obvious jazz classics, both featuring John Coltrane on tenor sax. it's a tough choice, i love them both. which one do you think is better?

"Part 4: Psalm" of 'A Love Supreme' is one of the most beautiful and heartfelt performances on any instrument or sung that i've heard in my entire life. as an album i'd probably go with "Kind Of Blue" too, it's just so chilled out, relaxed and beautiful all the way through but can't say that it's with no hesitation.

This is indeed hard. To me its like making an 'Illmatic or The Chronic' poll on a generic hip-hop forum. I say Kind of Blue because both 'So What' and 'Blue and Green' would be in my top 10 tracks.

voted A Love Supreme, that's a very personal record for me. this is the only peice of music that's ever had me in tears...reading coltrane's words in the sleeve...put within the context of the music... shit was just too heavy for a minute.
