What's that, you say? You want to see a movie about an ex-slave who kills white slave owners? well, your wish just came true motherfucka. check out the details to Tarantino's next movie...
“Django is a freed slave, who, under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter (played by Christopher Waltz the evil Nazi officer in Inglorious Basterds) becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself, and after assisting Waltz in taking down some bad guys for profit, is helped by Waltz in tracking down his slave wife and liberating her from an evil plantation owner. And that doesn’t even half begin to cover it! This film deals with racism as I’ve rarely seen it handled in a Hollywood film. While it’s 100 percent pure popcorn and revenge flick, it is pure genius in the way it takes on the evil slave owning south. Think of what he did with the Nazis in Inglorious and you’ll get a sense of what he’s doing with slave owners and slave overseers in this one.” source: http://blogs.indiewire.com/thompsono...ngo_unchained/ |

sounds cool, reminds me of that Chapelle show episode where they time travel and shoot a slave master. Dave's like I wish I could do it every show. haha

I just finished reading the script. if Tarantino sticks to what he wrote, this is going to be one hell of a movie

Irony: the worst villain in the movie is a House Negro (Samuel L. Jackson might play him), NOT the slave and plantation owners. FYI: Tarantino calls them "House Niggers" in the script

i read the script. if he gets the right actors for the cast. it's going to be my favorite movie definitely. Leonardo DiCaprio is now rumored to play the plantation owner Calvin Candie. and the dialog of the house slave is perfect for Samuel. but i hate the idea of Will Smith playing Django. he doesn't belong in a lead role for a tarantino movie.
