peace to y'all Seywhat and Mista JpKoff, glad you enjoyed both the article and compilation. i must say i'm little dissapointed, this piece was making alot of noise on the web yesterday, i broke my record on my blogs daily user yesterday with 500 people plus. that's pretty cool to have all of them reading that.
i was quite happy with the article and if you're not familiar with Grym's early years at all this should be a very informative article and the compilation is something i've been playing alot lately - as Mista said above, Grym Reaper was such a fucking impeccable rhymeslingers, very unorthdox in his style. so what do you think about the article, i mean this thread has like 150 views and 2 replays. what did you think about the article, which took me about 1-2 hours to write so i would like to hear some constructive critiscism and also let me know what you felt about the comp. my reason for the comp was not to cram every non-album Poetic song ever released but make a 40-45 minute "album" with essentail recordings from his Tommy Boy debut 12" and then following his career to Gravediggaz and a little less-known songs (amongst non Wu fanatics) like the three joints from the Baby J. producer compilation from '98, the song he did with Maxim of The Prodigy, and closing it with "Savior" and "One Life" which to me was an incredile way to round it off with. damn I miss poetic.

Great article, a thorough summary of his career and tragic passing,
I'll get around to DLing the compilation in the next day or two.

Nice article claaa, really well written, a perfect short summary of this great underappreciated rapper. That quote from chuck d really is touching. I just picked up "nightmares in a minor" recently, and fuck me, poetic turns in a fucking stellar performance, one of the best if his career. "one life" couldn't be put anywhere else but the end. Thanks for sharing this with us.
