Thanks for the post angry, I'm gonna download that Sway performance later. I am one of those people who been waiting for Pap to finally drop an album but I've been more than satisfied with his mixtape output over the years. He picked up where Big L left of in dropping ridiculous punchlines in the flamboyant and aggressive New York style of rhyme flow.

honestly rappers like him usually make wack albums anyway. i know thats a strong generalization but i'm fine with bumping his mixtapes and freestyles. lately he's put out some super wack shit -- terrible club/radio attempts -- but i still like him, and when he wants to slaughter a beat he easily can.

Papoose is ill and definitely up there with Chino XL when it comes to punchlines (for me they both have surpassed Big L) but you nerds are lying to yourself if you think that tapes and freestyles are enough just because Paps lines are ill.
I don't fucking care that he is one of the dopest lyricists, if he doesn't drop an official album anytime soon i wont bother listening to any more tapes or freestyles of him. I am fed up and furthermore i already know what i am going to hear. Well, he has to drop one if he doesn't wanna be remembered as just a dope mixtape rapper. Such a pity for such a talent... |
