RZA To Help Direct A Series Of Comic-Related Films

RZA continues his work in the film industry, and his first project may be "The Black Panther."

RZA has teamed up with Reginald Hudlin, former President of Entertainment for BET and producer of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained to work on a series of projects.

Deadline reports that RZA, who has directed and starred in his own film, The Man With the Iron Fists, will join Hudlin to direct and produce a series of comic-related projects, and potentially start their own company.

Hudlin wrote The Black Panther series for Marvel Comics from 2005 to 2008, which has been repeatedly rumored to be a possible upcoming feature.

The Black Panther centers around a modern day African chief with superhuman senses and abilities.

RZA joins Method Man and Ghostface Killah as other Wu-Tang Clan emcees to be involved with comic book projects. Both Meth and Ghost have written and starred in their own graphic novels.

Depends on the comic films RZA wants to make. Black Panther has never been an appealing character for me; I always felt he was a Batman-esque type character for Black audiences, but to each their own.....

I think if he made movies for the following comic characters, they' be dope.

on April 24, 2008, Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison for three misdemeanor convictions for willful failure to file federal income tax returns. Due to this, his role in future Blade movies is uncertain. After Snipes's return on the stage with Brooklyn's Finest, in an interview by Arrow in the Head Snipes has said that he's interested in Blade 4 as long as the plot is fine. He also said that there's a possibility for the film to be produced. In February 2010, Wesley Snipes said he would be interested in portraying Blade again.

At San Diego Comic Con 2011, Marvel's Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada stated that Marvel Studios had regained the film rights to Blade. With this, it is now unknown whether Marvel will develop a fourth film or a reboot of the franchise.[3] It is also unknown if a reboot will be part of Marvel Cinematic Universe or a non-canon film

The 99% needs more representation in the comic book movie genre.
Black Panther is royalty, he's the definition of the 1. Both Stark & Wayne are at least second generation billionaires, Professor X is another one that grew up wealthy and I have a feeling Daredevil fits in there as well. Neither Supes or Thor are human and could both be used as propaganda for the aryan super-race.
