I have to agree^
He could sing...but he was nothing special in my opinion... He only had that one style of singing real deep and slow... He has very little range. I honestly don't get how people can say he was The G.O.A.T. or The G.O.D. He was just "OK" to me. Elvis is light years ahead of Frank. Paul Anka has a better singing voice. Don't even get me started on Otis Reading ect... I ain't hating on him...The guy had some talent... He was nothing out of this world though.

That's just opinions. You like Anka, I like Sinatra, whatever.
I wouldn't say he's the best artist in music but I think he's best at what he does. I can't see how you could compare Sinatra with elvis though. Both had another style. Elvis has nothing on this guy though: And I'm not digging Otis that much.

Yeah respect...It's all down to taste.
But Elvis is the man. I just don't see what's so good about his singing style... It has no life in it... Granted his voice was nice but Anka actually sings with some passion. Same for Elvis...the guy had range...I mean listen to : "An American Trilogy"/"Love Me Tender"/"You Were Always On My Mind" Fair enough it's hard to compare the two... But to me thre is only one winner by a landslide..Elvis. As Sinatra had little to no range at all. I saw a Documentary about the life of Elvis Presley- And he done a duet with Frank Sinatra !!!!!!! have you seen or heard it ? You say Sinatra was the best at what he did...but who else is in that genre ??? This is not my forte. And Otis Reading was a man possessed when he sang... Like I said he could sing...(due to his voice...not skill) But the greatest ever...Hahahahaha

Any of you heard this track :
The Reavers ~ Shadows : http://www.zshare.net/audio/125214856e5441ff/ It's got Frank Sinatra on it and it sounds like the beat is a Sinatra one too ? Anyone heard the original ? EDIT : Here's the original : Frank Sinatra ~ I Wished On The Moon :

Sinatra can be compared to cats like Dean Martin and Paul Anka. This is the Elvis & Sinatra song: IMO Sinatra is the better singer in this song. I even dare to say he does a terrible job at singing my way: Not saying he's wack either. I like Elvis' Rock & Roll songs best. It's all cool though, all the musicians we just mentioned were great. Sinatra was just a little bit better than the rest. lol.

I know how he is gonna sing on the track before I hear it...Like GZA. I belive there are better technnical singers with a greater range of songs than him. Granted he had something special... I haven't heard much of Dean Martin but Paul Anka is better than Sinatra in my opinion... His version of "My Way" is the best I have heard...diddn't he write the song as well ? As for their duet... Elvis killed it when he came in... And he is doing Sinatra's style of singing...because he can. His performance on "My Way" was in Las Vegas and I belive it was his last performance ??? I could be wrong...but his presnce on there is too much. Play it from 1:45...you can see the emotion and pain in his singing...he moves the orchestra Like this... Play it from 3:11... I swear he destroys that beat "Showmanship" is the only word for that. I would say I'm differnet to you regarding Elvis... I prefer those kind of tracks in general in any musical genre. And Elvis does them as good as anyone I've heard...including old Frank... This is probabally my favourite singing song ever^ I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.. I can respect him for what he has done...I just can't feel him like Elvis. And others. PEACE
