No it isn't. That's just modern stigma. When classical music was contemporary the same people that go to Nicki Minaj concerts showed up to classical concerts. Except that people were infinitely dumber back then.

I picked-up his MIA album last nite and bumped it twice today and as I expected Jake One laced this album with some serious heat start to finish. Ali was mediocre throughout the whole album. This is the only album I have of his and I'm far from wanting another unless MIA gets an instrumental release. He just don't have it in him, that ability to rock the mic. His flow and style aren't too far from being weak. It's not a wack album but without question Jake One was the star.
