12 Reasons to Die: Project Update
From Soul Temple Records:
The Adrian Younge / Ghostface Killah collaboration that was originally scheduled to be released on November 20 has been pushed back to February 2013. This has been done for a couple of reasons. 1. Soul Temple is a brand new independent label. We needed to focus our marketing efforts on the Iron Fists soundtrack album. We did not feel that we could effectively market both albums simultaneously. 2. After many delays, E1 Music is finally supposed to be releasing the Wu-Block album in November. That project is a personal priority for Ghostface and we didn't want to be competing with that title for shelf space at the record stores. 3. We have put together a major USA tour for Ghostface, backed by Adrian Younge and his band, Venice Dawn for February and March of next year. They will be hitting over forty cities across the Country and we felt that the album and comic book release should co-incide with this tour. We will be releasing the first track for the album and a preview comic later this month. Please stay tuned... |

thanks for the update.
too bad this is being pushed back, but it was expected as there was no promotion at all and it's less then a month from the original release date. please make it sure that you won't postpone it once again. wonder if Ghost is still going to release Supreme Clientele 2 in 2013. with Twelve Reasons to Die and the new Wu LP, he's going to be the MC of the year in 2013

all points make sense, ill be waiting patiently for it. you cant release 2 projects from one artist in back to back weeks, hes been putting alot of effort into Wu Block so that gets shine first. this will get its own soon enough

Is the comic book coming with the vinyl or is there a seperate edition? Would be dope. Rather spend 10 bucks more on that version.

I'm getting whatever comes with the album, including the comic book. this could be Ghost's best work since Clientele. not sure if RZA or Ghost discovered this Adrian dude, but I'm glad they did

why cant more labels address pushbacks like this? that probably didnt take more than 3 minutes, yet its effective and had meaning
