Iron Flag is more comparable to mixtape material. That album hardly feels like a group effort & is more of a collection of random Wu songs.

Iron Flag is more of a strret album than 8d and the W. You want vintage Rae and Deck, listen to Iron flag. The only knock on this album was it didn't have any skits to make it sound like a so called "album". Y'all been warned is iller than anything on 8d.

This is great news but lets have a look at what RZA said he has planned for 2013:

Direct Genghis Khan movie
Direct No Mans Land movie
Produce entire U-God album
Produce entire GZA LS2 album
Produce some tracks for Ghostface SC2 album
Produce some tracks for Method Man album
Produce most (probably all) of new Wu-Tang album
Tour for 20th anniversary of Wu-Tang

This is just off the top of my head. There is probably no way he can do all this with the type of expectations we have.

Either he will do all this with quality suffering, or he will do most of these with some taking the backseat.

He has openly said many times that during the mid 90s of his heyday that he basically locked himself in that old grimey 36 Chambers studio to come up with what was put out.

2013 will be a very interesting year for Wu.

PS. I enjoyed 8 Diagrams. Campfire, Stick Me For My Riches and Weak Spot are some serious murky tracks that are straight fire.
