Last resort
After watching the 1st episode i was hooked,,
easily the best new show ive seen for many a year.. Through a radio channel designed to be used if the main base has been wiped out, they're told to fire nuclear weapons at Pakistan. Captain Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher) demands confirmation of the orders only to be unceremoniously relieved of duty by the White House. XO Sam Kendal (Scott Speedman) suddenly finds himself in charge of the submarine and facing the same difficult decision. When he also refuses to fire without official confirmation of the orders, the Colorado is targeted, fired upon, and hit. With their submarine crippled, and their own nation against them, the crew of the Colorado must survive unprecedented odds and set up a base of operations on a nearby island. Armed with a cache of nuclear missiles and a team of Navy SEAL's, this is their new home, and this is their last resort. Reminds me of Jericho, but with a budget!

hahaha i know, should be dead at the end of the 1st season,
shame, hollywood makes the shows i enjoy, then cancels before they even get going. i want moar terra nova, jericho, rubicon, terriers

-On November 16, ABC canceled freshman drama Last Resort, a series chronicling the adventures of a renegade U.S. nuclear submarine crew who sought refuge on an island. "Our ratings had been on the cusp, or really below the cusp, for a few weeks now," said creator Shawn Ryan. "I would compare it to [when] you have a relative who becomes terminally ill. You know it's coming, and yet you are still shocked when it happens." The series' final filmed episode will reportedly be tweaked to function as a conclusive series finale.

yep, read about it a few days back, knew it was happening since the second/third episode..
they always cancel this sort of show....
