Of course you can blame it on the label. Tical 0 was supposed to be a very different album, but the label wouldn't release it until he loaded it up with commercial Puffy beats. The contract he signed with Def Jam was 10 years previous, and early in his career he was given free reign to do whatever he saw fit on his albums. The label took that all away in 2004 and forced him to put out an album he was nowhere near comfortable with. Then Mef proceeded to torpedo that album in the press. After that, the chances of him getting another contract with a major was 0.

Meth keeps blaming the listeners for him not wanting to waste his time on stuff. He's definitely not a true artist with this attitude. A true artist just needs to get shit out regardless, always experimenting with . like whether you like them or not warcloud and canibus are good examples. They just got that hunger to keep writing and recording. Meth on the other hand doesn't but he blames the listeners, why? I tell you why cos he wants mainstream respect like how Kanye or Lil Wayne are known or Busta, this is fair enough I'd love to see meth up there like that, but it just aint happening right now. If only Meth wanted he could have beats from every dope producers like RZA, True Master or whoever he wanted.

The only thing that he could to do was a write a some dope bars and everyone know he's still on point and he could do it without a problem..

Why doesn't he want? I think by laziness, but it doesn't look good from the perspective of his fans that have spent a lotta money for his music and want more....

Someone wrote that Meth's wasted his talent and that's true 'cus he should've relased more than 4 solo albums...
