cappa has the personal friendships with the clan, so they made him a general when dirty died.

but skill wise, priest or redman would have been the mc's to make official generals in dirt dogs absence.

Cappa's skills are worthy of a General... he just seems easily convinced into working with less talented people. Ghost needs to grab his boy and hook him up with somebody nice. Let Frank Dukes throw him some scraps.

I was never feeling Cappa. He came into the clan officially as a late member. Never felt his rhymes. Felt his rhymes were maaad unorthodox and strange and a lot of it was lil b type material. I'm being serious. Glad I never bought any of his albums. Although he does sound nice on tracks were he does only 1 verse and the other verses are other MC's.

Yeah he was on Campfire, Windmill & Tar Pit, also he was never listed as a "guest"/"featuring Cappadonna" on that album either. Didn't drop to many verses on it sorta like GZA on Forever or U-God on The W

"the pillage" is def a wu release that needs to be checked. it's a pretty solid album.

nothing has been as good since, but that is pretty much true of all wu releases once rza stopped overseeing them.

cappa has mad charisma on the mic. and sometimes he shuts shit down (winter warz).

but lately, he just hasn't been sounding like the same mc.
he didn't fit in at all on that otherwise good wu tang joint off the man with the iron fists soundtrack.

The only time I felt Cappa was from like 95'-98' from the Cuban Linx album until the Pillage.....he was pretty ill back then.

Now, half of his lines don't even rhyme correctly anymore....just lazy on the mic.....

He isn't capable of holding down a double CD on his own.....

I kinda gave up on Cappa solo albums. N i pretty much support every Wu release. He needs a solid production lineup for an album which he hasnt had in over a decade. We talk about Deck's catalog being so poor but Cappa's is even worst. Should stick to live performances n popping up on Wu albums here n there. Peace
