i do enjoy east coast albums more than the rest of the regions in the united states (probably it has to do because i'm from new york city so i'm accustomed to them more), but i need some diversity in my hop hop or else it would be stale, just like in every other genre of music.

Not including Wu.
The Chronic - Dr Dre Ready to Die - Notorious BIG Illmatic - Nas Capital Punishment - Big Pun Deltron 3030 - Self Titled When life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold - Atmosphere Donuts - J Dilla Grand-Illusion - STYX Genesis - Self Titled Darkside of the Moon - Pink Floyd The last three are examples of percussion or harmony based backings that show glimpses into early production methods in Hip-Hop. |
