Fairly intereting novel. Very loosely based on the actual confessions of a Thug, this book follows the life of a man raised in the Muslim/Hindu secret society of the Thuggee. Whats interesting about this book is that the author makes the Thuggee his protagonists, or at least the main characters, as opposed to vilifying them. Odd choice seeing as they most certainly qualify as evil. He pays attention to many cultural and religious aspects besides the obvious, even going so far as to explain the existence of the Muslim Thuggee, such as the main character, which is indeed quite odd. Very informative book as so far as its true, and quite entertaining.
