It can't be put in words. It's our lifestyle, but at the same time we keeping it street. Keeping it street doesn't mean bustin' guns 24/7 but we got our own struggle and our grind. It's our lifestyle. Watch and learn. Better yet....live and learn. Peace.

Hip Hop is as elemental as Earth, Wind and Fire
an essential necessity in keeping a rhythmatic heart inspired
an inexplicable drive that keeps the soul alive
uniting many under one culture on the strength of it’s Vibe
it’s when beat, rhythm and rhyme become the culmination of one
the recognition of unisex soldiers moving to the beat of it’s drum
it’s the roots of a true lyricist who’s message becomes it’s tree
yielding seeds of creative expressionism that are personified by the streets
it’s the invisible magnetic force that became love at first sound
what political figureheads prayed would be lost, until their suburbs found

HipHop to me is being real with yourself and the way you express yourself through the five elements. If you arent being real to yourself and not trying to fit anybody elses mold and truly love the music and appreciate the other elements than you are hip hop. HipHop music is expressing the way/or the culture and the community you live and your individual creativity through rap. Doesnt matter what the beats sound like, doesnt matter what the subject matter is if its from your own mind and views than its hip hop. Its not hip hop when its changing your perspective and trying to put yourself in a cookie cutter mold to fit the bill of whats hot right now.
