Default Common-Resurection

Does anybody here like common, he got lyrics as good as anybody from wu. The album resurection is his best, on one song he sampled ol'dirty for part of one of his choruses sayin,"niggas be rollin". His lyrics are deep, he's up there with nas and gza IMO.

To me, Common is one of the top 5 ever to do it. One of the only somehwhat commercially known MC's out there to say something worth a shit. I got lot of respect for Common.

Common is nice as hell, he aint up there wit Nas and GZA but he got some amazing albums and he's underrated. I'm glad that "Be" got a lot of success cause it sure as hell deserves it.

^ so is Masta Killa right? off topic

But I think Common is up there with Nas and GZA lyrically. Not flow-wise, because his flow is weak, but just striaght lyrics, he's as good as they come. He sometimes suffers from boring production, but I think he's probably the most consistant MC of the past 15 years.

Common= my fav rapper... Hes the shit always comin real and always talkin real talk... I'd take him anyday over Nas and GZA eventhough they two of my favs too. They just don't compare to common's style IMO. I enjoy Resurrection alot more than Illmatic and just as much as Liquid Swords. ODILAMS is one of the most underrated albums out that and Like water for chocolate is a pure classic.
