those aren't even heavy metal bands.

those bands are what is called nu metal.

sometimes also referred to as mallcore.

Just read what it says on the link I posted. It describes it as a sub genre of heavy metal but it also says "Some heavy metal fans do not consider nu metal a form of heavy metal music at all, arguing the genre is too diluted from what they consider 'true' heavy metal" and believe me, most real heavy metal fans and people who make real heavy metal music feel that way and there is a big difference.
