I voted for Grandaddy Flow as it was the only one that was consistent and completely satisfying. Shabazz' album was dope but I had most of those tracks back in the late 90s, plus the mastering was terrible. Killah Priest's album had some brilliant tracks on it, but some dodgy beats and cheesy tracks, RZA's two albums were all over the place just like all of his solo shit, some
tracks and some |

Anyone that didn't pick Shabbaz in that list clearly doesn't own the album, it shits all over BOAP.

75% (or more I don't have it in front of me) of those tracks are mad old. Crime Saga is from like 95, for God's sake. Still a good compilation, I can't consider it an album. But yes, it owns everything on that list except 9th Prince. If I hadn't heard most of that album years earlier I probably would've picked it.

it does have better songs than any of the albums on this list ("Day to God is A 1,000 years", "The Birth", "See The Joy"), but you can't deny that the majority of this album is lyrically really dumbed down, even beyond the extent of either one of the Bobby Digital albums. 9th just has that grimy late night, rain soaked, wandering through the streets feeling paranoid type of feel to the majority of it.

I hear you, Shabazz is beyond sick, and like I said if the tracks were new to me I the time I bought the album I would probably rate it more highly. Being objective, the tracks are better, but I guess I felt burned that I finally got a Shabazz LP and it was a bunch of shit I heard on 12"s and the internet years beforehand. I'm gonna pull it out and give it a listen though, that track with Poetic is a classic.
