is anyone else surprised the roots did more than method man, theyre both on def jam and their albums came out on the same day. I dont think either had a video and I didnt see either promote on tv... I thought more people know method man than the roots.....

I'm not trying to make this Method against The Roots, but the final sales are in, and Method Man sold more. The Roots did have a video for In The Music. Actually it has 3 songs in one. Check their MySpace.

It hasn't flopped yet, just a bad opening week. Method's tour starts Sept 23. Its sure to boost sales. We'll see where 4:21 is in 6 months.

I bet he'll make a video now.

that is eaisily a low for both the roots and method man in terms of first week sales.....like GHOSTFACE did 110,000 his first week

but like I dont think people buy albums as much anymore....everyone has an IPOD now.......
