ive been thinkin that too...
the most important piece of the formula for all the classic Wu albums was DOPE production... but as for Gza's cd..i dont think it'll be whack......in the Bronze Nazareth interview on chambermusik Bronze was sayin Gza liked alota his beats and he has stuff with Gza comin out soon......

When I listen to Liquid Swords and then go listen to todays Wu... it feels like I just pulled out of Vida Guerras ass and getting a violent handjob from Oprah Winfrey in a Taco Bell parking lot.

The real question is wherrrreee the fuck are 4th Disciple and True Master. IMO I think these dudes are top 10 of all time and now they are nowhere to be heard

I think the problem lies in what Bronze pointed out in one of his songs. Too many producers and no kind of symmertry on the album. You have 13 fuckin songs and all of em have a different sound. Take for instance Liquid Swords, gritty, nasty, cold-hearted beats but all of em were indipendant of each other, they followed the same theme though. Too many producers on the album and no kind of theme and your shit can't gel. Any of the Wu albums before Forever had a theme and RZA stuck to it. Meth's album felt like an acid trip, ODB's felt like an alcoholic's music, etc... I think if the Wu picked themes for their albums and stuck with it they'd have classics on the level of their old shit.

nah i think they know that they fans want the old wu-formula, but they probably are having problems getting a hold of true master and 4th disciple.
