See the joy is one of the best rza songs, but it has one big weakness,
RZA's flow, sounds, fucked up! Noticed that RZA ain't good on slow beats like this..

yeah i hear what u sayin about his flow..i dunno it seems like he's sort of narrating.. instead of really flowing..which isnt bad to me, just different. RZA probably got the most unique way of rapping i ever heard, voice and delivery..

all the instruments are played and recorded live yeah but isnt the vocal singing chorus part a sample? im wondering cuz in the booklet it names all the musicians that played in the song, but it doesnt say a singers name or a sample reference..

The Birth is one of RZA best track ever when i first heard the song on my way home i stop walking when i heard this words "we the people suppose to be equal but the man who wrote that they was evil slave owners who did not include us they just use us and abuse us" and i look at my cd player like i could not believe my ears i listen the song for the rest of the week
true story not making up shit

see the joy is a very dope song thing is that nas already use a similar concept with fetus which is lyricaly a bit better

^^yo the beat alone is ABOVE average man u kiddin? considering RZA recorded and mixed live musicians and arranged this... its much better then the average production from a musical standpoint...
