It's a fucking kid's book. It gets the children reading, and honestly it's refreshing to see that kids are, for once, excited about reading. Fuck that shit, just don't read it if you don't like it.

I read Potter books.I think they're good and yeah, it's good to see the kids reading them.

true, i have only read the first one and that was years ago but i cant hate on them, except when its someone my age excited about the only book theyve read in their life.

the books get better....the first two were dreadful...but then it gets better...
but for me, this serie is superior - from Phillip Pullman His Dark Materials Part One, Northern Lights (Scholastic, 1995; in USA as The Golden Compass, Knopf, 1996) Part Two, The Subtle Knife (Scholastic, 1997; USA, Knopf, 1997) Part Three, The Amber Spyglass (Scholastic/David Fickling Books, 2000; USA, Knopf, 2000) anybody read these three? |
