I laughed once during the film.

When that chief of police said to the main character (whatever his name is) to move out of the city and live a different life. And the scene was

Main Char. " You can't just make people disappear "

Chief of Police " Ooooooh.....yes I can "

That cracked me up. Other than that,it's pretty average and the jokes are predictable.

Thats the Spaced team all over though, very gentle, wordplay based humor. I liked this film though, because the action and the cast are excellent. The film looks amazing also.

Spectacularly lengthy and definitive post warning.

Tragically, in reality, your chance at a logical argument ended here

I never watched that movie, the comedy appeared slightly too blatant for a real British Comedy...

I didn't expect it to ever beat Shaun Of The Dead, but I still rank it really highly and it gets better with every viewing.....the most recent of which was in December, but that's no reflection on the film's quality, mind.

Obviously.

As a great many great men have said, [American] spoof films are now really only spoofing the spoof.

Indeed, the situation is that dire.

Allow me to simplify my position.

Hot Fuzz sucks and is not funny, I'm not comparing it to anything British Comedy or otherwise, it sucked. Thank You

Mighty Boosh is the realest shit.

Regardless of the humour, shit is brilliant.

Ridiculous shit happening to pretty deadpan guys who don't overreact.

Great aesthetic.

Hot Fuzz sucks, the bit with the fence made me chuckle but that was it. Run Fatboy Run was better

It's a shame considering Spaced and Shaun of the Dead were brilliant

I didn't care for Hot Fuzz. I was excited when it came out as I loved Shaun of the Dead and figured those two would be funny in Hot Fuzz as well.
