Are the Yankees the next Bad News Bears?
It's well known that they have the highest payroll in baseball by far. They could buy any player they wanted. They supposedly have the best player in baseball, and a bunch of other great players. Yet, they can't get it done anymore. They haven't won the World Series since 2000. In 2003, they get beat in the World Series, by a team who's whole pay roll was probably less than Alex Rodriguez's. They barely made it into the playoffs this year, and they got beat in the first round. Their owner is like a dictator, that nobody seems to like. It's time to rebuild the team for a couple years or so. But the team can't be rebuilt, because the obsessive fans can't wait a couple of years for that. For now, their time is over.

As Long As They Have Mariano Rivera And Derek Jeter On There Team They Have A Chance. And You Got To Be Happy That There Was Younger People Implented Into The Team Cano, Wang, Chacon Is Also Pretty Young. I'm Not Worried They'll Be Around In October For A Long Time. But Will They Win Every Year, No There Beatable.

yeah, next thing you know, they'll be up 3 games to a 'cursed' team and blow it all losing the next 4 games!
