I was in the used record store again today, and as I brushed through the R & B section before I sideway strided over to the hip hop section, I have found his first album: "Born into the 90's" (1992). I had trouble finding this album before....even on the internet.....even hard to find a review.
Now many people (including me) would say that 12 Play (his sophomore album in 1993) is his best album. So I listened to it and judged for myself. I would say it is equal to 12 Play. You can tell this album came at the end of the new jack swing era.

I like TP2.com more than 12 play. I also think born into the 90s is the same level as 12 play.
