Call me ignorant but I'm pretty sure "Black" still means having skin on the tanner side of the spectrum. Just like "White" means having skin on the lighter side of the spectrum. It's a relative thing. Albinos are white. Melanism is black. Other than people with "disorders" no one is actually white or black. It's an outdated understanding just like all concepts of race. There are myriad strains of genetics stretching back millions of years. To classify people by the color of their skin and not the content of their genetics is superficial. To classify people at all is a hindrance to the furthering of human progress.

Just because Carlin has a non establishment POV doesn't make him black. It makes him non establishment. I mean you wouldn't call Immanuel Kant or Voltaire black or Le Marquis de Sade black or Thomas Jefferson black (and he didn't have sex with slaves, it was his Nephew Peter Carr who was sleeping with the help). These were white men with unorthodox views, but they were not "black."
