A sneek peek @ my upcoming beat tape, "Combined Forces". Using the 500 with Reason 4.0 now. It will soon be a deadly combination. Gotta work on the mixing, but so far so good.

Very nice, its a nice funky beat, but best of all is the heaviness of the beat with your kicks etc.

The vocal sample feels a little out of place except for when you hear 'like'.

No doubt. I tried to blend my bass and kicks together to get a fatter sound. Actually worked on trimming that vocal sample to fit. It could be slightly off, but that's cause I did the chops w/ no quantize.

i like the overall style and sound of this beat. this is one of those beats that you can have a layback flow to it but you really gotta emphasize on what you saying

Much respect Caper. I was kickin old rhymes on this and it definitely took a certain emphasis when placing a 16 on the beat.

Agreed, except for the last part, the vocal sample seems right. The intro had me fooled though, thought it was gonna go drama, but the beat is pretty laid back. Good stuff.

Hahaha.....the intro was actually a different sample from the same record I pulled. Kinda wanted to flip the script to keep ppl guessing. "I'm stupid like that" in the immortal words of Nicky Santoro. lol.
