just watched it last night, first episode was a bit slow paced but still good though. Think there might be a couple like that just to show some of the new characters coming in

I think the Tygarian princess & her dragons beg to differ^^

One thing that sucks is the short seasons. This show is on par with Spartacus for authenticy and breaking down boundaries.

I like them both, the tv series has got me reading the books. Just about to start reading the third one. Third book is in 2 parts, does season 3 cover both books or is it just part 1: Steel and snow?

Third season only covers half of the book. Hashashin, do yourself a favour, and read the third book before you go watch the last 2 episodes. Believe me, I think the surprise would come better that way.
