I'm definitely not here to play Son's defense but since I can speak a knowledgable fashion on the subject I will. What's really crazy is how people sit behind computers and build assumptions with no clue what's goin on the real world..LOL This internet era is really dumbin people down. To answer the person that made reference about the title. Ones perception of anything is ultimately up to that person. 100 people could look at something and get totally different perceptions based on their individual knowledge and viewpoints. I have actually sat with son face to face so I have more background info on his situation n that choice of title. Make a long story short. He was working and travellin heavy with Wu affiliates and under their guidance. At that time he was learning many things from the Wu and getting many influences musically. After going out on his own he decided to develop his own style completely seperate from Wu and hence the title. If u were to build with Son u would have the opportunity to understand he has respect for Wu but wishes not to be lumped in the category you all have seemed to already put him in mainly based on assumption. Oh and to correct the statement made about album. This is-was a mixtape the kid put out strictly for promotional purposes. He wishes not to eat off anyones name. I challenge yall to do the knowledge on matters before drawing uneducated conclusions.
There is misinformation posted in this thread if u read u will see the hypocrisy as an initial statement or question was posed, then shortly after an incorrect blunder of misinformation comes. I know that there are many on this site that let side motives, and plain ignorance block them from rational thought. Do the knowledge people. Real things happen offline.
