While I am very much in the "No more OF threads" camp, this seemed big enough to warrant its own thread. You need to buy the new issue of the New Yorker to be able to read the whole article, but Pitchfork has some details about the interview's content here:

Reading it now.

All the FREE EARL shit was pretty fucking lame i thought, especially Tyler's reaction to him being "found". If they didn't want shit like that to happen, why were they constantly yelling "FREE EARL" when he doesn't need/want to be "freed".

They brought that shit on themselves, and then reacted like bitches.

Tyler comes off as a bitch on Goblin too, constantly talking about how he doesn't care about what people say about him, but 80% of the albums lyrical content is about how people are talking about him....

I'm still hoping the rest of them can release good follow ups, because Mellowhype, Domo and Earl all had good albums.

Yeah I've been thinking too for the past few days that when Earl comes back he wont be affiliated with OF anymore. He's the most talented in the group, and it'd be cool to see him stretch out a bit instead of just rapping over Tyler and Left Brain beats.
