Its actually Nerd New Year, cuz its the last binary representation of a date for the 21st century. Mashable has an article explaining it. Global Nerdgasm in full effect.

I was always confused about the century thing. According to some, there will be another binary date in Nov 11, 2100 and this is still 21st century, as the 22nd century begins on Jan 1, 2101.

The 21st century is the current century of the Anno Domini era or the Common Era in accordance with the Gregorian calendar. This century began on January 1, 2001 and will end on December 31, 2100.

2100 is still 21st century.
So tomorrow isn’t the last binary date of the 21st century.
