Yo I think MASTA KILLA's NO SAID DATE is overrated.........album just sounded like a throwback to me, like he was trying to get the old WU TANG sound from the 1990's......there was nothing really new about the record.....that sound was cutting edge in like 1995. The thing about WU TANG I always liked in there glory days is that they were always cutting edge and pushing the beats and the rhymes......like SUPREME CLIENTELE was a evolution from IRONMAN........FOREVER was an evolution from 36 CHAMBERS........etc etc

.....it seemed when THE W dropped, they just stopped evolving.....THE W was a lazy attempt at trying to make an 36 CHAMBERS 1993 album........

.....I dont know, I think that MASTA KILLA's NO SAID DATE was a good record......but it did not realy interest me very much....like say a SUPREME CLIENTELE or the WU TANG's 1990's albums that always pushed the boundries of hip hop.

It doesn't mean that if Masta Killa uses some kung-fu samples he's trying too hard to go back to the old sound.

Nah man it aint overrated, its a great album with classics like Masta Killa and Silverbacks. The production was good, the lyrics and flow were great, and the cameo's were awesome. This makes it a great album to listen to, without trying to take it back to 93 to hard

some tight ol' school-joints (what you complain about?), the tracks at the album's end are up to date anyway. And then: the future: Assasin and the other sons of Shaolin.

No said date is one whole concept, and one of the best solo-cds of the wu family.
