Look, one thing yall fail to understand is that there are certain aspects to be taken into consideration here, for myself mostly.

First, from an artistic standpoint this is my best work that I've worked on for 6 years now. For me to come and drop an unmixed song so a few heads can shut up is undermining the potential of the song. Im not doing an album with beats and 3 verses each, thats not what this is. This album is like the old albums where each song makes sense once put together with the others. The album is an experience, not a compilation of recordings. I made that clear before. I worked very very hard on each song, some took months. So you might find that weird and bla bla and whatnot, but to me it's artistic value. So no, I will not a damn thing until its mixed and mastered. At least then I can follow up a single with an album and not lose momentum if the single catches on. Nowadays artists are dropping songs left and right like microwave music, shit lasts for one day, rarely catching momentum and forgotten the next day. Im not going to subject my songs to that system right now. Fuck if its the 2013 way, Im doing it MY way. Furthermore, I only work on beats I know I will use, thats why there's no throwaway tracks.

Secondly there's a financial responsibility with each song. I have received a very generous multi six figure budget to make this album and each song costs a lot. I owe it to my investor to respect his investment until we have a proper marketing plan in motion. That marketing plan is for now a secret only because I came up with an idea that I think was a very unique approach to releasing music and that alone should account for a major part of the promotion for this album, whether released by me, RZA or any old record label.

As for me announcing it early, yeah I did but I aint know yall was gonna keep talking about the shit for 164 pages, 215.000 views, 2200 replies or whatever. But hey, the bigger the better for when I'll be discussing the anticipation of this record with a third party.

So thats all there is to it. But better believe this album is real. What songs I revealed are all done and I have just finished primary arranging and editing of everything. I will be adding some instruments and vocals here and there and then send it off for mixing.

And furthermore, I like the element of surprise. Why reveal songs early to create a buzz. I'd rather create a buzz with the anticipation. As I see here, little shitty snippets and a name tracklisting were already enough to create one of the biggest threads on this forum.

But if it bothers you, fine, stay away, think of it a closed thread until Im ready to release music. Until then keep it quite and peaceful or nothing at all.

It's not that serious. When the music drops, everyone on this site will take a listen. Therefore, no point arguing about when. If it doesn't drop, they will listen to something else.

Ringz talked about a lot of albums that will never drop (you can add the second Lin Brotherz album to the list, and also the duo album with Barracuda).
