the mixing session should be done by late september, so a 4th quarter release is practical

Yo Cilva, did you see the interview that Wu-International did with Hell Razah a few weeks back...? He had some pretty bad things to say about Shabazz, even going so far as to call him a snake and state that he'll never work with Shabazz again.

Does that not put you off working with Shabazz on that album project you mentioned before...?

Wasnt it Shabazz that leaked your 'Plum Blossom' track on one of those chambermusik albums he dropped...?


Is 'Plum Blossom' gunna be on your new album...? I always loved that beat, would love to hear a finished version of it.

As I said, Im editing.. pretty slowly... to make sure all is proper.. It's a fine line trying to produce a masterpiece and then accidently over-producing in the process. For instance I would love to add flute, piano, violin and cello to Rainy Dayz II but that could sound overproduced while the original Wu records were always perfectly balanced and quite simple yet super complex and unmatchable. Whatever RZA did, none of us can ever do, even to this day. it was genius.

So for release date.. who knows.. but yes I should be going into mixing right after Ramadan I believe.

As for Shabazz.. me and Bazz had issues we never really resolved. And our situation is way different from his and Razah, who's his cousin. So you can't really weigh judgement against the two. But I'm about the music now, and Shabazz has remained one of the illest emcees I ever heard. And a biblical rap record is well over due.

As for Plum Blossom.. I didnt know that was out. Link anyone? That's a track Moongod produced and features RZA, Beretta 9, Shabazz & Killah Priest.

Yeah its an unfinished version that Shabazz put on one of his chambermusik albums. It only has Beretta 9, RZA and Shabazz verses on it, no Priest verse.

I'm not on my home comp at the min but I'll hook up a link when I get home unless someone can do it first.

It was a couple of years ago, I think you mentioned it at the time and said it was just a rough edit that you sent to Shabazz so he could put his verse down for it but he ended up putting it out there.

Oh ok. Yeah well that was a track we wanted to put out some point, but we didnt have a full version of the beat, just a 2-track and the mix was already ehhhh.. Priest's verse will pop up somewhere though. But that beat was hot.

Just done a quick search on here, there thread where you spoke on it was from June 2008. You said that Shabazz did his verse years ago, that you added RZA and B9 in 2004, then Priest in 2005 and then you laced it later. You said that Shabazz had just an unmixed reference track and that it was unedited too cos you can here vocal cuts.

I'm on my phone at the min so can't link to the original thread.

Shabazz put the track out there called 'Wrath Of The Lamb' rather than Plum Blossom.
