^agreed @ last 2 posts

the guy obviously barely understands english and therefore probably dosent have the slightest clue how remarkable shabazz is as a rapper and/or lyricist

Bazz was one of the original and earliest Killa Beez to join the Wu, that's why RZA shouts him out on 36 Chambers. At one point he was almost being considered to be a part of the Clan, but Shabazz has somewhat of a clashy character sometimes which I feel stopped him from reaching his full potential. You're talking about a guy who Big Pun himself said inspired him with his ridilly-diddely style after hearing Crime Saga. Riggs Morales, A&R at Shady was a huge fan who had his "Death Be The Penalty" tape signed by Shabazz when he met him. RZA always liked Shabazz his shit, but like I said, too many captains on a boat will eventually shipwreck and so Bazz went his own way.

Not defending him here, I've had my fair amount of issues and disagreements with Shabazz, but as far as emceeing goes, he's one of the illest to me, and definitely in the Wu camp. Let me see if I can upload something for yall to hear and see what I mean.

Also, I just so happen to be releasing those line ups that way.

And yes, it's definitely a double album now.
Fuck yes.
Shabazz is one of the dopest, only an idiot would deny this...and I think him being on a track would make everyone step up their respective games, so fuck it.

Shabazz 8x on this album? That's a good problem to have.

Just fantastic to get some real Wu hype going. I'm certainly hyped for this. Loved I - but think this is shaping up to be the one. Have a feeling this might be the last 'old time' Wu lp we get too.

Much respect Cilvaringz

Thank you.

Mind you, the skits and stuff are not just movie samples. They are actual composed pieces of dialogue and such.

So what is left to do to finish this album? Get one more verse, cover art and mixing? Do you have the track sequencing all down? Still have samples to clear?

after you're done with the album, are you going to send it to RZA and the rest of the Wu to get their opinion on it?

I'm sure there will have problems with sample because 23 tracks fully sampled is very rare nowadays. What about this cilvaringz ?

I'm curious as to hear how this compares to Wu-Tang Forever as a double album.

It'll be interesting to see what the Wu think of the completed version of this.

When they all recorded their verses, were they aware of the album it'll be used for?

Im still editing. After that it's mixing, mastering, covert art and then writing out the marketing plan for it. After that it's passing on to RZA and Divine to offer them a first look and see if they might wanna do something with it.

There are a lot of samples yes, we're looking into that but it shouldnt be a problem.

This compares quite a lot to Wu-Tang Forever, at least that's the feeling I got from it. Only Forever had a lot of tracks that just faded in and out of each other. There wasn't much dialog and skits in between to make it feel like a real album, but the music was so incredible it didnt matter.

But yes I do get that same feeling with this record. Most members didnt have an idea what they were recording for because I didnt have an idea. Remember, the initial idea for this album started as a Killa Priest album. Then it became my album with the Wu but slowly turned into a potential Clan album with many killer bees involved, so it's still hard to pin down as to how it'll finally be presented.

Im sure RZA might be able to shine an opinion on it.
