usually i hate any modern shit that passes for "R&B" or "soul" these days but there's a few exception and Anthony Hamilton is definitely one of them. i first came across him with his "Coming From Where I'm From" album and was blown away, some straight, smokey '70s Al Green type of stuff. i'm not feeling all i've heard though so wants to know if it's worth checking out his new album "Back to Love" that dropped this year?

Coming From Where I'm From is fuckin classic.
But since that record he has released much less quality stuff. He has some nice guest spots here and there tho. Like that David Banner record two years ago. |
