If the power went out for a couple weeks or months, that mean no gas pumps or running water, no heat. If the phones were out. No internet. No stores open or banks to get money out of.

What would you do?

I think things would go crazy pretty damn quickly. To go from being so in touch with everything to nothing straight away would send some people nuts!

I'd go for the barricade option initially while I thought of a plan...

I live in the country so I would be in better shape than most. As for water there are windmills all over the county, one within walking distance of my house. As for food there are more cows and goats in the county than people. So you know a country boy can survive but it would be some crazy shit.
