"mind" is a word so it can be whatever u want it to be FMJ...
it actually can mean many things if you look it up in the dictionary but i dont think any of the meanings given are metaphorical. they usually say that "mind" is an ability or faculty. so no i wouldnt say "mind" is a metaphor for anything.
