Tons of engineers and lawyers and so forth that are contributing to the development of america in a great way.


but as far as leaders of the black community, we simply have a group of glorified complainers. There are no real intellectuals and none of them are contributing to the intellectual development of the world, the country or the community let alone themselves.

are all smart people, but none of them really seem to be introducing new ideas into the world, which is what would deem you an intellectual. It's almost a situation when anyone can adorn the title for speakership positions. Voltaire, Marcus Garvey, Karl Marx, Thomas Paine, John Locke, are all intellectual leaders. They were able to introduce new ideas to the world or explain the world in a way it hadn't been explained before which posterity can there after use to model and reform society around them.

As it stands the current black leadership is void of tangible ideas and innovation. There are a lot of community leaders on a local level doing astounding work, but the national names are black versions of Bill O'Reily. Paided opinions. Their claims to fame are usually cheesy one liners and above average to average rhetorical dexterity, but it ends there.

If I were to state that I'm not down with Sharpton, Jackson, Oprah, Farakan, West, etc, people would really dislike me. These so-called black leaders are nothing more than pimps and entertainers who made money off of black struggle. They do absolutely nothing for the black community in terms of its development and its future. When Obama took office, people believed that blacks would finally prosper. Did we? No, we didn't.

When Trayvon Martin was killed, Al and Jackson were all over that like flys on shit and they made a lot of money because of that. However, when there's black on black crime, nothing's done because they won't make any money from that. This is the point, guys. The previous stock of leaders gave us mechanisms for defending ourselves from being cannibalized by white people through implementing new ideas and philosophies and living to actualize their benefits. MLK's speeches are studied in rhetoric oriented courses for masterful and tactful use of Ethos Pathos and Logos. His arguments were socratic in nature and challenged standing ideas tactfully. He made a difference.

These other guys haven't added anything since. Surviving white people's racist onslaught is not enough. The walls of the house have been built by dead men and no roof has been added since.
