![]() Nice, don't be too annoyed if i inquire you for questions, you've always been pretty well versed on shit like this. The reason we may need an independant developer is because i want a 'twitter ticker' that shows everything the channel's twitter retweets or tweets, and the mobile aspect, i want it to stream on the phone as well. Will i still be able to do this with what's available?

I was looking at brightcove's site tonight, since i have something work related that involves using this vendor
and their html5 video players seem pretty versatile. They will detect, and render based on a user's specific device. You only need to use a single embed code. Haven't looked at pricing yet. |

been studying copyright online, the software they're using now is unreal, it looks like the corporates are finally conquering the internet.
so far my understanding is if you provide credits for which ever entities property you used and make it clear that you are not claiming it's yours, you're good |

states.
Maje is short for Majesty, which is a name i wanted to give to my original dream of building an upscale club in nigeria. After growing more with the idea i realized upscale clubs were lame and were fundamentally something i dont wish to promote because they weren't fun. To advertise the club i wanted to have a reality series around it. I stopped liking the club idea and kept on to the reality series idea. Primarily because it's something we don't have where as we have upscale clubs and i wouldn't be contributing much to ending the development gap. plus clubs require very little creativit which isn't fun. so after some time i came to see that there was this cultural coutner revolution going on that i really liked because whether it's content is agreeable or not, from the fact that it's being done, the wider social implications around it were historic so looked to see what was important and doable that we didn't already have. Movies were doing a lot for nigeria. africans had create their own way of telling their own story however they wanted because of them the majority of our media intake was no longer from a 'white eye view'. I know easy to make TV via cellphone will close the gap. There's a youth boom in africa and like the one in the US it's causing a cultural counter revolution. The 'arab spring' is an example of things really changing, and a lot of the new culture coming from the youth is, like in the US, being met with serious backlash (which playes into the 'taboo' aspect of the name) Last edited by TSA; 09-14-2012 at 02:19 AM. |

Go find yourself a sig. You still haven't mentioned if this is going to be a startup or something entirely different. You don't wanna get into the startup game unless you like gambling with other people's money, enjoy working 17 hr days, or have a mentor who's connected with VC's or Angels. If so then read up http://theleanstartup.com/ http://afrinnovator.com/ |

alexia rankings this month
7,688,224 7,685,500 7,678,990 7,638,464 7,633,581 7,619,720 7,614,832 7,609,694 - 6,682,759 3,512,986 (facebook driven) 3,212,848 3,212,848 3,018,808 2,864,533 2,739,300 2,730,995 2,736,177 2,822,725 2,819,585 <-today Im missing like 2 or 3 dates today and it's daily. This is freakishly good for a landing page. Our facebook has been a huge advertising success www.facebook.com/majeofficial I've been focused on brand based advertising. Just posting pictures that if someone liked they would probably like our brand as well, and people share and 'like' them a lot, their friends see, and so forth. We got serious about the FB in the middle of this month and jumped like 3 million spots (it's organic niche advertisement to 6000+ people daily). Im getting various popular people from various communities to promote the page by sharing pics they like, that's working well. We're about to publish the site it's self with the video player as soon as this guy sends me the editing for my informative video the show's aren't completely done but making good, though varying, levels of progress. Also i see Ora.com is doing the same thing for whoight people. Setbacks are finding a way to have investors get realtime feedback on account activity, and starting a blog, which i want an established blogger to handle. With these numbers we still haven't broke into the nigerian market at all, this is mainly sudanese patrons and various nigerians here and there. a blog would do wonders. Just posting someone fucked up stories from wucorp on to nigerian forums with a link to the fb or site impacts viewership incredibly. but yeah, september has been freakishly good, |
