Naw I noticed that too, its because he has Bruce Willis eyes & in certain scenes it looks as if the Levitt character is becoming a little too close to his Willis age and you can tell the CGI for him is trying to make a digital recreation of Willis's face on Levitts. His cheek bones are off and are closer to Willis's

Yeah the facial expressions were funny as fuck.
I thought the movie was pretty good. I liked how they went through his 30 years then boom back at the spot when he arrived. I thought the way they got the older version of his friend to come back was sick. Lose 1 finger then another and another then his foot and so on.
