I used to eat shrimp. Everytime I did, my nasal cavity down to my throat would feel itchy - allergic reaction - and my throat would feel like it's getting smaller when I swallow. This goes away after gargling with water. I no longer eat shrimp!

I don't think I ever tried lobster knowingly. I imagine the reaction to lobster would be worse.

well, I ate neptune salad from the store many times (I thinkk it's crab), but did not have that reaction. It could be just shrimp. I won't be experimenting with other shellfish though.
