i'm pretty sure you can get methane from faeces. extract the methane from raw sewage, you could probably extract more than just methane, what's left after extraction can be used to make bricks/building materials.

i saw that on the news yesterday. it said at the end that it's gonna be another 10 years before they could make it efficient enough, something like that.

we make too much co2 so they're gonna recycle it, but nature already has a way of recycling co2, plants and trees. planting more plants and trees would naturally give us oxygen. we don't need extensive research and expensive processes to give us more oxygen. methane naturally occurs in shit.

we can do a lot with sewage, it's an untapped resource.

but since it's a natural resource that everyone contributes to i think what's made should be free for all to use, personal use. then people will have properly insulated homes and will use less gas in the winter too.

agreed that they need to start finding cheaper and alternative energy sources but we wouldn't get shit for free even though everyone contributes to it. The money involved in making plants to extract it, the extraction process itself and then all the workers involved, equipment etc. All that would cost money and would need to be paid for. It would be an endless supply though if they could do it and surely cheaper than the alternative!

they can sell the building materials they make and keep the gas free. the gas naturally emits anyways, they just gotta cut down on the time it takes to extract. they will need more in the way of machinery than staff.
