so are these guys basically like Theodore Unit, where it's one dude (Ghostface) carrying everybody on his back? but for TS it was Big Pun carrying everybody. I know they're just a record label now, but according to their wikipedia page, they only have two artists: Fat Joe and DJ Khaled. nobody else is releasing albums off them.
but whatever. what's your opinion on the former members, Cuban Link, Armageddon, Prospect. Remy Ma was good. does anybody remember their 1999 album...? ![]() I haven't listened to it in years. anyway, I think it's safe to say Pun was the crown of the group. the best thing fat joe ever did was discover him and give him a shot. and be truthful, how many people here were on the TS bandwagon back in the day?

I found my copy of the terror squad album and it was pretty good, although I skipped some verses just so I could get to Pun's verse. I don't know even want to know what their second album from 2004, True Story, sounds like. without Pun, that thing must sound like shit.
I seriously think Pun was the greatest mc who ever lived. people just don't get how good he was. had he lived longer, I would've loved to have seen him make an album based on known beats. he already murdered Dre's Twinz and Raekwon's Ice Cream beats, imagine what he would've done to Shook Ones, Quiet Storm, Knowledge God, etc... fuck it, somebody should just take Pun's existing verses and put them over those beats |

in all honesty, with the way Pun's second album Yeah Baby sounded, I think fat joe would've taken him deeper into the pop mainstream bullshit route and turned him into a cornball, which is what fat joe is right now. this is the type of video Pun would've prob made

Dame Grease produced that, so it is definitely a sure fire banger. Triple Seis' solo debut Time'll Tell is very introspective.

I got both of Terror Squad album's. Besides Pun, Cuban Link, Triple Seis, Prospect and Armageddon were lyrical monsters. I got Link's and Seis solo albums, they are straight, just needed better production. It's sad they left the group, Link & Seis would had been on the 2nd album instead of Remy it would had been a lot better. Its a shame that Prospect and Armageddon didn't get enough shine off that album, Lean Back is one of my favorite beats and they would had destroyed that shit, too bad Joe got Remy on that, she was mad unnecessary.
In the last 7 years Fat Joe has been puttin out a lot of wack shit, but some of his songs on the albums released are dope. The Darkside was a good album. Baby Pun is mad sick too. |

I'm making a burnt cd of Pun's guest appearances on tracks. I just heard this one track for the first time ever called "someone to hold" by a puerto rican chick named Veronica, where Pun and cuban link spit a quick verse for her. the song is kinda corny and soft, but Pun still delivers a nice verse and it's got a good beat. Fire Water with Rae and all them...his verse at the end kills all the ones before it. Verbal Murder 2 off of Pete Rock's Soul Survivor...he kills it again ("I pack clips between my thighs and my fat dick").
I feel like a fucking idiot for not realizing Pun's greatness when he was alive. I remember my brother bumping his music in the car and I would be like "yeah, whatever." I didn't realize how serious the dude was. best flow, one of the best deliveries, biggest vocabulary of any mc I've heard, multi-syllabic rhymes for days. he would've been a great storyteller too, but the only story song I've heard him do is Fast Money off his debut |
